It's not like our administration isn't doing anything. I mean our practice facility is sweet. Your it if you ever get the opportunity. We pay Grant a top 15 salary so we are showing him commitment as well. Coleman isn't great but it's not god awful either. The upgrades have made it decent. I think one of Grant's problems no matter how much kids love him is they aren't traveling 800 miles from home to play at our program until we produce some wins. That's why I think we should live in the south. Don't leave Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Florida to recruit. We don't focus on those areas like we should.

We are about right for now. If we get Maymon back we will skyrocket up this list. If he redshirts we will be a bubble team at best.

Where the frick have I said I don't like him? Where have I said I don't think we will make the tourney? I just think Grant needs to recruit better and run an offense that works. I think both of those things can be accomplished by hiring new assistans. Many of us felt that way last year.

I was mostly referring to not promoting some sort of Midnight Madness event, fricking the students over with shite seating, etc.
I agree about the recruiting though. We need to focus on the SE until we have built more of a national brand. 5* kids from California or NYC aren't lining up to come play for a program 1500 miles away unless it's consistently on TV, in the top 25, and getting deep in the NCAAs.

Oh yeah it's that simple in BBall... 1st there's no such thing as an offensive coordinator in Bball... you think Grant is gonna sit down while bama is on O and let his OC call the plays..? lol. If a Bball coach brings in another coach to run the offense he may as well quit as head coach...
If you understood what Bama's BBall philosophy was you probably wouldn't complain as much... Grant is doing just fine in recruiting.

I feel you on these... we had ONE MM event and I thought it went over pretty well... I'm sure it has something to do with parking on friday night.. would make it pretty tough to get to a MM if there is a game in town... I guess they opt not to start something they can't be consistant with.

How can you penalize Arkansas for playing a tough schedule so far and losing to every good them they've played, while you reward South Carolina for playing a crap schedule and losing to every good team they've played (and to some not-so-good teams as well)? Texas A&M has played one good team so far this season. That one game didn't go very well. LSU hasn't played anyone good yet either, but they're still undefeated so I'll give them some leeway. Kentucky would still beat most of those teams you list above them. Mississippi State is still god-awful, but Auburn and Georgia should give them some competition.
