I don't believe any Bama fans said anything about our "per player average" being originally lower than a couple other teams to begin with. I believe that was mostly LSU folks.

You do know all of this is being done in response to Auburn and LSU fans calling DeBoer "Husky Harsin" and claiming he would never be able to recruit on Saban's level, right?

Williams is a 4 star on On3. Get with the times. And you're splitting hairs between two very good recruiting classes, something Alabama fans would never have done in July when Saban was in charge. Yeah...this is what is so hilarious. When DeBoer was first hired, we were told that he couldn't recruit to the level required to be competitive in the SEC. While it's only July, we're very much in the running to land the #1 overall class for 2025. Things could certainly change between now and December, but right now we're just gloating at another failed prediction from our inferiors.

Who was the coach that signed that recruiting class? That was over 20 years ago now, so I’m a little fuzzy on it.
