How did Nick Saban do in his first year at Alabama? Give DeBoer 3 years! Then you can talk about this like LSU is sucking as a 3 or 4 loss team annually nowadays.

Value of 3 losses depends on strength of schedule. 3 loss Bama or South Carolina or Georgia, Tennessee should be ranked way ahead of a one loss Boise State or BYU or Indiana. The SEC will not sign the next playoff contract after 2025 without a NET ranking like basketball’s NET. Nor will the next contract have automatic qualifiers. The SEC and Big 10 could start their own playoffs and get the big network deal. More likely we have a new division with about 50 power teams.

I'd take a lot more criticism from Arkansas fans about the CFP games... except for the fact that Arkansas has had NOTHING to do with any playoffs whatsoever.
In fact, in recent memory, Arkansas is much more likely to finish OUT of the top 25 football poll rankings entirely than RANKED at all.
But hey, I guess you guys are great at... track or something.
