I mean hell, the only reason Colt was hurt in the first place is because your OL couldn't match up, tried to cut block a player, got his face shoved in the ground leaving a wide open shot from the side on a QB who had no where to go because no hole opened up at all, and his pitch was covered. That said, Alabama has won a few big games in recent history with the back up QB. And I said many injuries, not one. Alabama had like 4 or 5 freshman playing in the front 7, including both ILB. Lost both starting ILB before the season even started, then lost other backups during the season. So yeah, it's a team thing.
