Rattler has an incredible arm and can throw on the run. He’s elusive enough to get out of trouble. Decision making improved dramatically last half of season. Have excellent receivers and running backs with Gray as home run threat. DLine is nasty and Linebackers will have coming out party. Coaches impressed with how cover guys are doing which is saying something. Younger players will show the future of OU football.

Honest question here. Do OU fans generally think Rattler is better than mayfield/Murray?

Rattler is more complete. Crazy thing is that Caleb Williams is probably a little better because he has the accuracy and can run like a son of a bitch.

Yes sir. Spencer will have a much better supporting cast this year with Brooks being back, along with hazelwood and Mims being a year older. We’ve recruited much better defensively the last couple years, but we’re going to have to continue to get better if we want to get to the end goal. Special teams needs to be more of a threat aswell. Hopefully Billy Bowman can be electric in the return game.

No one cares. Get to the ship and we can talk. Until then, pipe down Big 12 scum.

Ya, he’s definitely much more agile than Spencer.

We’ll get down votes when we say anything good about OU. They understand this team is more complete and that recruiting is going very well. They were hoping for a Sooners team without a good defense to join the SEC. Not a team that will consistently be in the mix for an SEC title.

Serious question - do you guys even get into it with the American Conference level fanbases in your league outside of Texas? Like what does a shite talk fest with Iowa State, Baylor or Kansas State even look like?

The level of shite talk from the majority of you is so damn pathetic I've just assumed that you aren't used to having to battle it out with other fanbases that have even the least bit of material to shoot back at you with.

That will never happen. OU will get destroyed again in the playoff game.

Crimson (OU color as well) Boz (Brian Bosworth nickname). For all that hate toward OU, your name says otherwise.

The truth is that while OU may be a very good program, playing in the SEC is a grind they are not use to playing. To even say that OU will consistently be in the mix for the SEC title is really short sided.

Even Alabama, as good as they have been under Coach Saban, has not been in the mix for the SEC title every year (2010, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2019 Alabama did not play for the SEC title)

OU will average 1-2 losses a year in the SEC most years, with some years losing 3-4 games. I know this is not welcome news, but you are trading a Big 12 schedule for the monster schedule that is the SEC.

Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Alabama have all played for and won NC in the last 25 years, with Florida, LSU and Alabama winning multiple titles in the last 15 years (you should know this, OU has been the victim several times)

I am not trying to diminish OU's program, but you need to be honest with yourselves.

The scored would be something like 45-17 Bama.

Bama's defense would break Rattler in half.

Just cuz the big 12 has been weak the past 10 years doesn’t mean OU doesn’t have MORE dominant decades than even Alabama facing Nebraska, Texas, Miami, USC etc.. the big 12 from 2000-2010 was SEC level. This is all in the past of course. Looking ahead after the SEC announcement OUs recruiting is off the charts. 23 class is already in Talks to be one of the best recruiting classes ever by any program if OU gets a lot of the guys they are projected to. Not to mention Riley is already ahead in the portal game.

the only one who can beat OU with that big 12 schedule is OU. and yet it happened twice last year

Kansas State (Average recruiting rank of like 40??)
Iowa State (Average recruiting rank of like 40???)
