Getting on ESPN for more exposure.

No fricking way ESPN puts a team in their first year of existence on national television. This will be a pay-per-view game.

I'm so glad we don't have to claim weak arse moral victories. Real victories on the field are so much more satisfying.

I figured that they'd be at least smart enough to get on ESPN. I guess not...

Excuses? What kind of excuse do you need if you win? I mean, really?

I would not think you would need any but we heard tons. Hell, they have already started for this season. Everyone has a bye week before hand so when we only win by 3 or 7, that is why.

He's celebrating Alabama struggling in a game where Alabama beat his team. Is that not a moral victory?

Did you also hear that the teams without a bye still have 6 days between games to focus on Bama this year? That's B.S.

Then why mention Alabama struggling against Auburn last year? It's irrelevant to this argument because Alabama won.

You asked what excuse. I gave the example.

So I guess Alabama doesn't have the right to adequately prepare for its biggest rival?

See...excuse for closeness of the game.

I didn't ask for shite.

I have no excuses. We're 14-0 and entering the season as the defending national champions. It feels damn good, but I realize we're going to be the team to beat. Regardless of when this game is played, we're going to get every teams best shot and every game is going to have more riding on it based on who we are and what we've accomplished.

I'm not scared of Auburn or any team on or schedule. Our schedule isn't favorable, but its been like that for a couple of years now. If it doesn't change, it won't make any difference on the expectations for this team. We're expected to win every game because as of this day, we're the best and we're the hunted.

Well, i remember Bama fans doing the same thing the year before last when y'all lost to Florida in the SECCG. Because Bama put up a great fight and y'all were returning a lot of starters. And Florida was losing some playmakers. This year it's Auburn returning a lot of starters and Bama losing a lot of playmakers on defense. There's not much experience back there at all.

I didn't offer an excuse. I was just asking why Alabama doesn't have the right to prepare for its biggest rival. We still won the game, I don't care if it was close or not. The '79 Alabama team was probably the best team Alabama has ever had and the Iron Bowl went down to the wire that year as well.
