Assuming Cochran isn't stupid just because he doesn't have multiple DUIs is a stretch. Have you heard that man talk?

Cochran probably gets more love than he should due to his vocal personality and having the most talented athletes in the country flowing through his weight program.
By no means am I saying he isn't great at what he does but I do know that coaches look smarter when they have the best athletes.
But anyway, there are countless guys out there who could be an assistant S&C coach in Bama's program. Chapman can be replaced easily - and should be.

Hope he gets his life straightened out. He was a beast in the gym while at UA. Likely one of the strongest athletes to have played there under Saban. But, addiction doesn't care how much you bench.

He could put pressure on Sabes but Chapman let his statute of limitations run out. He was the kid whose grade miraculously changed from the 9th grade English...while he was in the 12th grade, which suddenly made him eligible. Go figure.

An irresponsible adult endangering other people's lives with his selfish behavior and who didn't learn from his first encounter has no business being employed by the state. He is not a college kid but appears to be acting like one. Perhaps AU won't turn their back on him and hire him when hopefully Alabama does and cans him.

If he would have stuck to his original commitment in HS of Auburn and spent 4 years in a family environment instead of undisipl part town Tuscaloosa hanging around thugs then he probably wouldn't be having these problems today. It's sad really that he threw away his future for Saban when he still would have won a ring at Auburn anyway
