To have a 2,000 yard passer, 2,000 yard rusher, and a 1,000 yard receiver in the same season.

Coker needs 225 passing yards to make Bama only the 2nd team ever to have a 3000 yard passer, 2000 yard rusher, and a 1000 receiver.

well as for what I remember

LSU is the ONLY school with

two 1,00 yard receivers
a 1,000 yard rusher and
a QB that threw for whatever yards Mett had

on top of that

LSU is the ONLY school with

two first round WRs
first round QB in the sane draft

We've only played 14 games to this point. Tons of teams have played 14 games. Silly barner.

Not that impressive. A&M was like 40 yards from this in 2012.

Lately every mother F'r on here acts like it's a god damn disease to go to the SEC ship, bowl game and national championship game where stats are concerned. Ever since Bama started winning everything in sight, you all wanted a playoff; now they are likely gonna win that to and now you whine about too many games counting in stats. Don't want 15 game stats? Beat them on the field and prevent it but don't come with this whiny, crybaby shite about 15 games of stats if you can't stop it.

Sorry for being the only SEC ever good enough to get to play 15 games.

Jokes on us.

Gotta find some way to rationalize the dominance. Too bad it doesn't work in this case.

People can always do pre-CFP stats, pre-expansion stats, pre-CCG stats, pre-modern era stats and so forth. If it takes one team 14 or 15 games to accomplish something, pointing that out is perfectly fair. The average per game is a legitimate issue. What's not fair -- but people will do it anyway, as evidenced by certain RB discussions on this board this season -- is extrapolating. You can't legitimately say, "Oh, my team got X yards in 13 games. If they had played 14 games, they would have gotten Y yards because I can do simple long division and addition." Every year, we hear about teams and players early in the season that are "on pace for a record-breaking season." Pace isn't prophecy, it's just a hypothetical. So if your QB passed for 3000 yards in 12 games (250 ypg), that doesn't mean he can be credited with 3250 yards in 13 games because, you know, trends, man, trends.

I imagine we're going to have to wait for a couple decades' worth of stats for people to get used to the expanded number of games and just accept the numbers for what they represent.
