Its not a trust.

It just takes Bama players that much longer to walk back. Hightower has to start back at 11.

In his interview, Les said he asked his players what time they wanted curfew. The players said that they wanted an early curfew. It has nothing to do with his lack of trust in his players.

you're in town for an away game. LSU is on a business trip.

Most likely because it wouldn't be safe for the 'Bama team busses to be at a dead stop in NOLA.

This and I'm sure new Orleans is more been there done that to our players. For the gumps this is probably the most exciting week of their lives being out of Greenbo, AL.

No, for the players who were on the 09 team Pasadena had to be more exciting. The Rose Bowl > The Sugar Bowl, it's common sense.

Anyway, LSU did the right thing. When royalty is riding through town the peons have to stop and watch.

Ladies first. You are in the south. It is the way it should be.

I think playing in the Rose Bowl was awesome from a historical perspective for Alabama fans, but that stadium doesn't hold the same meaning for current players (or any of the last 50 years) as it does for Big Ten or Pac-12 players. The first goal of any Alabama season is to end up playing in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.

True, but Bama IS the royalty of the south, so like I said, the LSU peons were in awe of Bama the Great.

FYI, N.O. has as many or more fans of other schools as LSU fans.

Following a thread on the rant is worse than following a recruit's girlfriend's twitter.
