i was just looking at the box score for this game and maybe they just had a bad day.
BUT, if they play that way against LSU's D it is going to be a good day in baton rouge.

1) LSU looked like arse against Tulane last year, too, and went on to win the National Championship

2) This thread blows

they didn't look that bad compared to bama.
7 pt.'s on offense is pretty weak. not JPW not busting a 100 yards passing and having a net loss of rushing of 13 and a half yards against tulane. and remember tulane was evacuated from new orleans.

I'm sure Alabama looked terrible, but so do we jerking each other off over it.

Tulane way outgained Alabama 318-172; a difference of 146 +yards for Tulane. They had 18 first downs compared to Alabama's 11. Better 3rd down percentage, Better pass completion percentage, better turnover ratio. Tulane obviously had a very good defensive plan for Alabama as Alabama only score 7 offensive points. It's a shame that Tulane couldn't get more going on offense. One of the headlines on ESPN.com said that Alabama coasts over Tulane. Hardly!

I am just glad we beat a team from La.

Tulane is not a terrible team. They had all summer to prepare for us and everybody gets up for Alabama.

Tulane was a horrible team last year, and this year they lost a ton of key players. They are definately not a good team, and I'm pretty much going to say they are going to be horrible this year. And the "everyone gets up to play Alabama" thing is just a cop-out for when Alabama plays bad.

They missed the extra point?

Yeah, on one of the kickoffs, Tiffin got his bell freaking rung and had to sit out for a little while. They put in a new kicker who shanked the PAT.

FAIL!

Did you see Forte shred the Colts for 123 on the way to a Bears win last night. They lost a hell of a running back.

Bama looked bad. Clemson was over-rated and started 4 first time Offensive linemen. It's a two horse race in the west.

I wasn't aware that one player made a team. My bad.

FWIW, they went 4-8 last year. Now, take that team and take away the one good thing they had in Forte, and you have a very, very, bad team.

Did you break down the Alabama LSU game that last year after you beat us by 7 ? You know that horrible bad Bama team that every LSU fan says sucked ? NO, why ?

A W is a W. Yeah, we had a letdown. Yes, we all knew we probably would after a big W in the first game. Give Tulane credit. They came out on fire and play with heart and emotion. Not having Andre Smith hurt. But we havn't given up a touchdown yet in 8 quarters. Sometimes it is good for a team like Bama to have that happen. Wouldn't want to be those player in practice this week !

I don't see what everyone is bitching about. We could have skipped our offensive possessions and still won the game. No one has yet to score an offensive touchdown on us, and we have only allowed 80 yards rushing since the season began. I'm happy.
