3. Bama allowed only 85 yards rushing

There are always some positives. But 85 yds rushing by a Tulane team without a player by the name of Forte isnt really that impressive.

Doesn't matter ... Bama has allowed 85 yards rushing through 2 games.

NCAA statistics prolly has them in Top 3 for rushing defense.

That's what I'm looking at ...

How about the 73 yds passing and 99 yds rushing AL gained against TULANE? Are you looking at that at all.

Try looking at Tulane shredding & exposing Saban's "Hand's on" Secondary for 229 yards & completing over 57% of their passes.

314 yards by Tulane, 173 yards by Bama

18 first downs by Tulane & 11 for Bama

That's what I'm looking at...

Shhhhh...it's all part of "The Process."

And by process I mean, "Playing down to inferior teams several times a season."

Don't underestimate Tulane, NLM, nor Louisiana Tech. People down LSUs schedule. These teams are improved.

Saban teams play to their level of competition!

Didn't Saban teams struggle making FGs and extra points at LSU?
According to an article in The Advocate two starting OL were out with a injury. Bama doesn't have much quality depth.

Bama not so hot this week

But we'll never hear about it on ESPN, just like ESPN somehow avoids talking about the hurdles LSU is facing this year on its own campus.

Exactly. Not one mention of the game being moved back because of the damage. You would think the whole situation would have been noteworthy.

they talked about it a few times this week on college football live. John saunders even complained that it wasn't getting the national coverage it should.

But where are the 5 minute segments showing the destruction and distractions? You know if this was USC dealing with some earthquake damage or Bama dealing with shortage of WonderBread, there would be tear jerking stories and reporter/camera crew entrenched with the living quarters of the coaches.

Just scrolling the postponement of the game is pretty weak for the the defending National Champions, or really anyone.

Bama is in for a world of hurt this year...If only they had a QB worth a shite...Jessica Parker Wilson is a turd, that needs to be flushed...nice stats thou 11 for 23-73 smokin yards.

Actually, that's pretty typical of a Saban led team. If you go back and look at his track record his teams often find themselves unable to get motivated for certain teams.

He did it at Michigan St. and LSU as well. He's a great coach, but in my opinion that's his greatest weakness.

We lost to Bama due to our pitiful special teams. I was very suprised that our Defense could stop Bama as well as they did. I would say after watching Bama play twice, LSU will beat them by no less than 17 points.....if not much more.

Saban and the Sabanites will say it was due to the stout Green Wave D!
