I did not see the "temper tantrum" most are accusing him of for being pulled.
yea- I dont have much issue with it. I understand he was ticked off and frustrated. Kelly is the real problem.

Blame should be on Kelly. Crappy play calling, delaying giving MVB a chance much earlier, got beat in all 3 phases of the game. BK should take the blame

Suggestions for Paso Robles and surrounding area?
Posted by Tigershat on 9/23/25 at 5:50 pm
Looking to head to Paso Robles for a few nights in early November and looking for suggestions. It has been a long time since we have been through there, so we are not super familiar with it.
Any suggestions for nice places to stay? Best to stay out at a winery or stay in town close to walking to restaurants, bars, breweries, etc.
We plan to hit some winery tours etc one day, then likely hike in Pinnacles one day, but open for other suggestion for activities.
TIA

He led a benefit concert on YouTube last week for flood victims. Lots of old Texas country artists.
Thanks for sharing that- unbelievable trauma for those folks.
Yes- I left that part off the OP. I believe they were in an RV park near Kerrville.

Pat Green performs Wave on Wave in Lake Charles the same night as the funeral of his brother and most of his brothers family. Not sure how he made it through the show. He mentioned his brother and family (and other flood victims) a handful of times during the show.
The cabins were up pretty high from the river and it never really crossed my mind that flooding could have reached them. They have some really old structures( dining hall, admin buildings etc) that are lower or at same level as these cabins that have not seemed like they have ever been impacted by flooding to any great degree.

A lot of Louisiana kids go to Mystic too.
Yea, my wife went there with a few kids from the Lake Charles area as did my daughter with kids from Lake Charles and Shreveport. They both went from 7 years til 18 years old and loved the camp. Such nice family who owns/runs it (Eastland family), such a tragedy. Those poor, poor parents. I can't imagine.
Edit: Correction, they had just had drop off for the girls for the camp term.
2 of the cabins impacted at Camp mystic were for the youngest of the campers there. If I am not mistaken this is right around the time camp pick up would be. Gut wrenching.
Praying they continue to rescue all remaining.

It’s my understanding that there are two Mystic Camps. One everyone is fine and accounted for. The other is the unknown. I’m currently in Galveston with a group of teens just back from Mystic and they are hearing bits and pieces from their friends’ parents. Some videos coming thru, but most of the kids don’t have their phones per camp rules.
I think the Twins and Bubble Inn Cabins were the two cabins affected... these were with the youngest of the campers.

I am hearing they just rescued 2 more mystic campers, but I'm hearing there are still 26 Mystic campers missing. I pray that is inaccurate info.
Edit: It is closer to 20 campers not accounted for. Please keep dropping.

Kids Camp Mystic in Hunt, TX was hit really hard. They were pulling 9yr olds out of the cabin windows in chin-deep water.
My neighbor still hadn’t heard that they located her daughter as of 9 am this morning. By 10:30 I believe they had located all. Parents were told to stay put as the roads were not passable and river expected to rise another 5ft
** edit: as of 12:57 not all children accounted for. Parents were told that they would be emailed directly if their child is still missing. Video circulating of helicopters being used to rescue small children from tree tops
Heartbreaking. Hopefully they continue to pull more out safely.
My wife and daughter both went to Camp Mystic from 7 years old to 18 years old.... we know it well.
