The staff is why Bama has slipped. The players aren't being developed as they were in the past because the current staff is at best an average Power 2 staff.

Saban doesn't seem to have the nuts to cut ties with underperforming coaches like he did in the past.

The entire defensive coaching staff needs to go along with the OC and OL coaches.

Looks like he just Miles-fired* yalls WR coach

* Miles fired- Les Miles fired ONE coach his entire tenure at LSU. DJ McCarthy who got us a slap on the wrist from the NCAA due to violations he committed in the recruitment of Akiem Hicks. Every other coach who left the program (crowton, Mallveto) was eased into another job elsewhere

Just because you want this to be true doesn't mean it is. Saban was already an established, successful coach when Kirby was playing at Georgia. Will LSU fans ever get over Saban leaving them and then going on a run for the ages at Alabama?

The WR coach needed to go a few seasons back. Our OC is hot trash too. I gave Rees the benefit of doubt but I knew he was trash at ND. He's confirmed his trashiness at Bama.

Relax. It’s over. It’s been over. What’s your excuse for going 6 years without a natty? What’s the common denominator here.

Done.

Not as many coaches lined up to replace them as they were in past either.

Defensive staff is fine. Ol coach needs to go. Wouldn't be sad if OC left, but it's hard to judge when the ol is a problem and the QB can't hit or doesn't see open intermediate distance wrs when they are open, which they were an awful lot this season. Main knock on the OC was lack of creativity, no screens, no tes slipping out last second, nothing to counter blitzes. Again, that might be due to milroe's limitations processing fast.

I could hardly believe this is true. Personally, I think Saban is done with it all. He has 7 titles and already has a statue outside of BDS. He has been clear and vocal about how much he dislikes the direction of CFB. I think he wants to retire, but maybe isn’t ready to let go yet. He certainly has nothing more to prove.

Oh, I know. Bama fans don't want to talk about Saban has ruined a lot of his relationships with other coaches. Coaches with options don't want to work for him anymore.

Bama fan saying this simply means you want Saban to leave

Steele literally said this week that the true DC is Saban. But they love to throw the DC's under the bus!

Defensive staff isn't fine. DL never imposed their will against any quality opponent this season. At the very least Freddie Roach has to go.

This^

Milroe would be a completely different QB under Kiffin or Sarkisian.

These players aren’t being developed like they once were. It’s hard to maintain when you have a staff turnover live we have at Alabama. Saban has produced some amazing coaches. Kirby is a perfect example of a coach staying long enough to learn the entire system. Kirby is the most solid coach there is right now in that next wave of coaches.

Kiffin would be dangerous at a place like Alabama if he brought Pruitt in to run the defense.

Dunbar was the last great DL coach at Bama. He wasn't the best recruiter but he could coach his arse off.

I'm glad others are now seeing what I've been saying about the most recent Bama staffs. They aren't developing guys.

I also just remembered he’s with the Steelers, so I edited that out, but yes. Dunbar is a hell of a DL coach. I would have been happy to have him at LSU.
