Yes. We lost to Bama by 7 on the road in a game that ended up not mattering at all.
If UGA had beaten Bama... they'd be #2 in the playoff and would have won the SEC. They would have been 4-0 against playoff teams.

The point is the OP is trying to idiotically act like transitive wins/losses matter. You missed it completely.

No excuses for injuries from UGA. We had 'em in 2017 and didn't make them. We had 'em in 2021 and didn't make 'em. We had 'em in 2022 and didn't make 'em. We had them last year and didn't make 'em. We have them this year and haven't made them.
Injuries are part of football. If you lose because of them, you didn't build up enough depth. The doom and gloom people about UGA's chances due to Beck being hurt aren't UGA fans. They've universally said "next man up".
UGA's going to have two games (assuming they win) against defensive oriented teams who don't have explosive offenses before potentially needing good QB play in the final. By that time Stockton will have plenty of experience. If he fails we lose. If he excels we'll win. Not like Beck hasn't failed several times this year. I don't see our chances being any less with Stockton at QB.

Alabama lost 3 games. The fact we are talking about 3 loss teams and 2 loss teams that have 0 ranked wins only highlights the format is stupid.
The rest is just the fantasy you want to believe because you need a way to cope.

It was obvious this year that our staff didn’t know how to prepare the team for every week. We have the talent to win it all but very poor coaching.
