And Bama's East foes are a whopping 5-10.
I'm not the one saying our schedule is shite tough though.

And we didn't play UGA when they were a M.A.S.H. unit.
Georgia was never that great to begin with. A Top 25 team doesn't lose to Vanderbilt no matter how many injuries you have to your offense.

That shite happens when you give Nick Saban an extra three weeks to prepare that Les Miles doesn't get.
Nick Saban had one extra week to prepare for a game he did not know he was going to participate in until 30 minutes before the final BCS Countdown Show.

I really don't know which is worse... 1/9 for LSU fans or "Dos a Cero" for Mexicans.

#1 scoring defense. An offense that scores at will - and is still improving with great play from a different receiver each week and a backup RB who is just as good as our starter. A seasoned, championship QB. The #1 return man in the country, a couple of blocked kicks, very good kickers . . . they have a complete team this year. Not to mention the best coach in football.
I think it is the best team Saban has had in Tuscaloosa.

IF that's the case then you might wanna bet your house on this game.

I don't bet. And only idiots/losers bet on their own team.

2011 was their best and least deserving team, IMO.
I agree
2011 Bama would fricking destroy the 2013 version.

We'll never know. Mostly because we haven't figured out time travel.

What the frick else was he going to be doing? Preparing for his juggernaut Sugar Bowl opponent?

The eyeball test is the only metric you Bammers use, right?
Well, your eyeballs should be telling you that the 2013 Tide would get their shite pushed in by their 2011 version.

Recruiting? He tends to do that when he has a week off.

2011 Offense < 2013 Offense
2011 Defense > 2013 Defense
2011 Special Teams <<<<< 2013 Special Teams
But the 2013 defense is still good and continues to improve every week.

I think Bama can beat Oregon, but FSU is looking like the best team in America right now. They're just purely dominating everybody. When's the last time a team shut out another ranked team 63-0? Never? I think Never is the correct answer.
You are counting a 63-0 win against Maryland who is 5-3 and lost 34-10 to Wake Forest as a sign FSU is the best team? At least make a decent argument.

Football outsiders ( Rankings) posts extremely in depth rankings that look at per play and per series efficiency for all 3 aspects of the game (adjusted for competition). The percentage provided is roughly what percent is that team better than the average BCS team. Following are Alabama's best team's since 2008 by F/+ ranking:
2011 - 53.9%
2012 - 50.6%
2013 - 48.0%
2009 - 41.2%
2010 - 37.5%
2008 - 27.3%
Since 2008, there have only been 6 teams to finish higher than 45%, 3 of them the Tide the last 3 years (08 Florida, 08 USC, and 11 LSU the other 3). Based on this 2011 and 2012 look to be a little better than 2013... but there are still a lot of games to play.

87...Don't act like you more about Alabama football than that LSU fan...I mean he has to know more than us right? They love to say shite and think "Well that's the final say so on that subject, onward forward to the next" bunch of frick sticks..

This is all I look at: total yards per game and points per game.
2011 Alabama: 429.6 YPG and 34.8 PPG
2012 Alabama: 445.5 YPG and 38.7 PPG
2013 Alabama: 462.8 YPG and 41.3 PPG
