The "pump up guy" is horrible. The 4th quarter thing,loudest stadium, and the first downs make it sound like some redneck truck rally.

He's been working on his "How to annoy LSU fans shtick" all season - it appears to be working.
I've seen several threads where different fanbases and even our own is annoyed with this. I go to all the home games but never thought about it being annoying until I kept reading it on the boards. I just watch the game so it doesn't bother me.

that guy sucks. He's awful. 
But, like coaches, he replaced the best PA announcer in SEC history (nation,probably but I have only an isolated game at maybe 11 other stadia to select from). Simpson Pepper was the Frank Sinatra of SEC PA announcers.
