I agree with the op. O did a good job as the interim with a staff that was not his own.

If we keep Aranda and get a good OC (Kiffin or someone near that level), combine that with the locked-down recruiting, then I think it's safe to say the sky isn't falling.

It's not sexy and not my first choice but it's not terrible either. I think there's a reasonable chance this could be good.

Back in 2009, the kids and I wore our LSU jerseys (yeah go ahead and pile on--but the kids were young and it was fun to do it).

After we won the game, we had no negative comments. Comments such as "good win, we hope you win the west" were most typical.

We cheer for good plays, first downs and TDs. We don't cheer for USCe f-ups, penalties, etc. Visiting fans have an obligation to show some respect. Respect given, respect earned.

Unless you have a Gator, Clemson or UGA jersey on, you'll be fine with their fans. USCe fans hate their team this year anyway--they have no expectation of a close game.

I'm fine with him going. we probably needed some fresh blood. I don't think Steele is as advanced of a DC mind as Chavis but if he's a good LB coach and Coach O for DL, I'm hopeful we can do well. Better than Chavis? I don't know... but LSU fans have been vocal of the bend but don't break defense that Chavis employed.

As far as Saban goes, I'm glad he got our program back on track and won LSU a National Championship. Cheers.
