I thought the committee meets today and the results are to be released Sunday?
Maybe I read something wrong somewhere.

It's pretty clear that he's referencing the playoff committee's rankings which are set to be released today.
So "Bama fans calling talk shows complaining about being ranked behind Ole Miss" foretells future events? Impressive.

Well Bama has those impressive victories over the likes of Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss, Florida, Arky, aTm, and Tennessee.
And all Ole Miss did was win against Bama.
So it only makes sense that Bama>Ole Miss.
Thats using Gump math of course.

Bama fans calling talk shows complaining about being ranked behind Ole Miss.
Ellery just called Sarah the operator from the telephone tower at Cecil's Live Bait & Lingerie Emporium up on PossumSpit Lane to try to get on Pawl's show to complain about this exact thing.
Seems he had a bet with Billy Joe Bob whilst they were playing checkers and drinking day-old Community Coffee during the sale they had on Skoal - buy 1 6-pack - get 3 free along with a sample of Tide and a 3-roll pack of Charmin.

Alabama lost to Ole Miss at their house by less than 7. It appeared, at least to my eyes, that Alabama should have won that game is they didn't make a few errors.
Ole Miss lost to an unranked LSU team. They should have lost by many more points but LSU turned the ball over 5 or so times.
I can see why Alabama is ahead of Ole Miss.

Did you learn anything from my post or did you already have your rebuttal planned out in your head based on the first sentence?

what polls? They are ahead in the two and the playoff has not been released

Every fan base has 1,000's if not 10,000's of fans. A few morons calling a talk show is only a few morons calling a talk show, not the fan base.

"my team would have won if they had not made as many mistakes" is literally THE DUMBEST argument in sports. You're supposed to use hypotheticals to extrapolate events that have not happened yet, not reconcile reality to the narrative you wish had happened.
