So Bama fans are like a cult, but LSU fans buy up billboards because of their made up narrative and call any in-state recruit a traitor and ban them from the state if they commit to Alabama. And we're the ones who take it too seriously.

Well... at least they didn't start a 10+ page thread calling for violence and death threats against officials and opposing fans over a targeting call. They've never gathered on the quad to burn an ex-coach in effigy, celebrating the ritual like an unhinged group of homicidal maniacs. They didn't recently murder an opposing fan in a bar after a loss. They've never erected pointless billboards protesting a call. They've yet to run off one of their most successful coaches. Lastly, the national championship melt was a bit tame compared to the brutal Tiger Rant melts after a loss to someone like Aggy.

But, hey, that's none of my business...

This coming from a fan of a university representing a state that is:

* Among the top 5 states in most unhealthy and fattest.

* Among the top five in STD's

* Among the lowest 5 in income.

* Among the lowest 6 in literacy.

* And leads the nation in current consecutive losses to V-A-N-D-E-R-B-I-L-T.

I wouldn't call them a cult but they were infected with an unhealthy sense of entitlement.
In the long run that beating they got Monday night may be the best thing to happen for them

Funny considering the hundreds of LSU threads concerning Bama. It seems like you guys are way more concerned with us than we are about ourselves.

Bingo. And Bama fans would sell their Mother down the river for a pair of tickets vs. The Citadel.

Uh, I was at the Citadel game. There were a lot of mothers sitting on the banks for that one.

Spot on

The reason Gumps get so much grief. Tons of bandwagon fans & belief that it's their right to win everything all the time.

They don't deserve the amount of success Saban brought considering the circumstances.

Holy hell no one is reading that emotional wall of text meltdown. I thank god I’m not afflicted with whatever it is that’s wrong with you that makes you so obsessive about a game played by boys.

I think you generalize a fan base because it makes you feel better about yourself. You made some pretty stupid statements and then reflect on it like the LSU fan base has it all together.

You’re too stupid to read and comprehend what I said. I was actually kind of getting at the point that bama fans aren’t that bad but never mind. You’re just a douche and I’m sure the actual good non-trashy bama fans are very embarrassed to be associated with people like you.

Also over the years UAT's football success degenerated to became a substitute for its fans lack of self esteem highlighted by a neuroses of persecution. Football is the be all and end all at UAT. Personaly I am very, very, very thankful that no members of my family are affliated in any way with this awful organization as UAT represents the very worst of southern society. It is counter-intuitive to their football zealot fans but for genuine supporters of UAT, it would be wonderful and best for the school if the NCAA shut down their football program.
