Yep. That one. It said, "Well shite. I have no idea what to do now. Guess we are fricked."
WHY CAN"T IT STILL BE THERE? I MISS IT AND WANT IT BACK.
Don't like the new face either. It is much uglier and doesn't inspire the same comforting feelings at all.

So in your opinion Shula was more cute than Saban?
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I dunno. I suppose.
I just know I grew fond of seeing him on the sideline and really liked the 4th quarter face.

I don't remember any women stealing kisses from Shula.

Well as an Auburn fan, I can tell you the reality of it.
As a Bama fan I can tell you of the reality that your offense has not scored 1 point on Alabama the past two years and even with gus the talking mule it aint lookin good for ya right now.
BTW: I knew Saban would turn it around....

Was just looking where the Tide started 6-2 in 2007 and lost their last 4 including of course the stunner to ULM and a 6th straight loss to Aub.
At that point, with the way Saban had not faired to well in the league (apples to oranges, I know) and with a pretty disappointing finish to the season, what were some of yall's own thoughts about Saban and the direction of Bama football?
I went to the FSU game that year (0-0 at halftime and lost 21-14).
I knew right then that we were going to flounder at the end of the season, but mainly because Saban had some culling to do.
The ULM game sucked, but I wasn't all that surprised. UAB took LSU's lunch money when he coached there, too.

Alabama fans were TERRIFIED about the potential 7th straight loss
Wut? Alabama was 11-0 and Auburn was 5-6 and looked even worse doing it. That game was over 10 months earlier on NSD.

Bama fans - Question about Saban's first season

The textbook suspensions were killer too
Which was bullshite. A minor violation that was treated like a major.
The funny thing about the textbook suspensions, though, is that on the morning of the Tennessee game, Alabama had to suspend two starting offensive linemen...one an All-American...along with Glen Coffee. And then, with an offensive line cobbled together at the last minute from scrubs, a twenty-something year old kid named Major Applewhite took the Vol defensive coordinator out behind the woodshed and beat the shite out of him.
What was that DC's name, anyway? I can't remember. Someone help me out here.

Oh yeah...John Chavis. Used to play that defensive package where the DBs played soft on the corners.. Called it the Mustang package, didn't he? Used to drive Vol fans crazy when he woud give up leads late and get the Vols beat. Where did he end up, anyway?
