How much of a chance would you give them to beat LSU without him?

They still have great athletes at the other positions so I’m going to say about a 15% chance of beating LSU if a rematch were to happen.

This isn’t 2011. LSU by 21 in a rematch.

They would get railed without Tuna. Heck, even with him:

- They trailed for 55 minutes
- They trailed by double digits for 35 minutes
- Half of their points came on 3 fluke plays
(1.) 75 yard punt return
(2.) 65 yard pass where LSU D wasn’t looking
(3.) 85 yard trash time bomb

Their only real success was when LSU got comfortable with a 20 point lead.

And even then, Joey Badazz said “I don’t think so!”

I’ve watched the Bama game several times and there were numerous critical throws that Tua threaded the needle against great coverage...his long ball accuracy is incredible. No way they get those throws from this back up.
LSU by 20.

Not obsessed. Just seeing several threads from Bama fans saying that they are getting into the playoffs. So that raises the question of Bama’s chances of beating LSU in a rematch.

If we’re doing the “remove these plays and...” scrnario, you have to reverse the 2 uncharacteristic turnovers by Tua, give Bama the 7 pts on the fumble and take away LSU’s 7 off the INT. If you’re not, then you leave the game like it is and it’s a game where Bama got down and fought their way back to within one score. Nothing more, nothing less.

Besides, why are you still worried about 2019 Bama, doesn’t LSU have some titles to play for?

With #13 out I like our chances. With him in? All bets are off. Kid is an absolute baller. Best wishes on his full recovery.

Not worrying at all. Just thought that I would ask a question and get everyone’s take on it.

Dunno. LSU would have two to three physical games (TAM, UGA, possible other SF opponent) before they played. What's LSU look like with Burrow or other key players are out if he got injured before, for example?

Alabama still has enough NFL bodies running around to knock out LSU with a backup QB on any given day. The betting line on that would probably be less then a TD if Alabama beats Auburn soundly and backdoors their way in to the playoffs.
