Alabama dominated the last match up statistically so it will not be a blow out. I think they out gained them 200 yards in the first matchup we will see. If Bama gets healthy it will be a close game.

You do understand that your cheating ways will not work against Bama and the REC? They will destroy you

You do understand we beat Bama twice in last 2 years. A month ago game was @ Bama on their homecoming when they wanted revenge for us taking them out of playoffs a year prior.

Will be a good game and no one is winning in a blowout. If we had a Lincoln Riley offense I’d be concerned. Having a Brent Venables defense means we’ll have a fighting chance.

You boomers better be prepared for the shittiest officiating ever. You probably cost the refs a Christmas bonus last time yall played and they will be out for blood.

OU bring the pain. Y’all got the defensive line to rattle Simpson.

Trust me, all of us Texas fans are very happy that Vern is gonna stay around for at least another year.

Vern? You mean Venables? I too am glad he’s here. We tried the offensive route and it didn’t pan out. Want to try defense for the next decade and see how that pans out. Defense travels. This is first year we really have a fully implemented BV D scheme with his players. It will improve as we find players to plug any holes.

And if you think our O will be stagnant next year then you’ll be in for a shock. We’ve had no stability on O in coaching and players injured. All can be rectified via portal and new class plus health. Two rookies on oline doing great and foundational.

Could have been rectified last year too and wasn’t. I’ll have to see it before I believe it.

Depends on your view. We did look great early season until QB injury. Then some other injuries plus Mateer just not mentally recovered. But the signs were there. Had a new OC and he’ll get to have a complete off season to get his players and system implemented. Was a learning year for him. We had no OC stability since BV took over and next year we finally will.

You're giving the Big10 way too much credit. They are a good team but we beat UGA at home early on. If we get our mojo back anything is possible.

Imagine having to play Tulane or JMU for your first game; win and it’s boring, lose and people will talk about it forever. It’s like playing Boise State, and we all know how that turned out.

Yep. Now that was a memorable game.

You looked decent until yall got into conference play. I’ve said it since Mateer transferred, he’s not accurate.

Mateer already knew that system, he came with Arbuckle. I don’t think it’s a system issue. It’s an offensive line issue pair with QB play.

I do think that’s very valid if you believe in Arbuckle. WSU is hunting for a new HC right now, and he could be on a short list of candidates.

You think a system is only QB/OC? You need Oline to execute play right. Same as RB and WR and TE. As they play in system they learn what to do better. But with the injuries we never got consistency. 3 weeks should fix a lot of it.
