I expect Bama to disappoint this year. Too many new faces on a team that was already overrated.

Bama started an incredibly high number of freshmen last year.

I will politely disagree. Their defense will be strong, and like LSU, they have recruited strongly at many key positions.

While they may struggle a bit on offense, I don't see much difference from last year. Glen Coffee was a big loss, but they've got kids that can play. Their OLine play may be questionable, but my guess is that this will improve by the time they host the Tigers, barring injuries, just like many teams with holes to fill.

Let the flaming begin!

It's all good, though. We won't be losing 5 conference games like some team I know...

If you have adequate, average QB play Bama could do very well. But, OL effects a new QB, especially, and it's amazing how that can effect the defense. I don't know about your QB situation and no one will until the season starts. Our QB situation last year was one huge domino train wreck. I'll leave it to the others to flame Bama.

Do you even play 5 SEC games? Beside LSU, who do you play? No Georgia, No Florida...If you lose more than 1 game your coach should be fired.

i would rather us duke it out with Bammer for supremacy in the West than have to deal with Ol Most or R-Kansas.

Naw uh. You mean an LSU fan picked Bama to be a bust? This wouldn't happen to be biased or anything would it?

I said they would be a bust, because they are getting top 5 hype. I did not mean that they would suck. I think they will be good. But I expect them to perform like Georgia did last year: pretty darn good. But the expectations are, it would seem, unreasonable.

On the other hand, I expect Florida to be as good as predicted: totally dominant.

I also expect Georgia to be better this year than last year.

I see them being in every game but losing a few close ones.

Because of their coach, I expect Bama to be just as good or better than last year. Saban did an outstanding job in recruiting the last couple of years. He recruits and knows how to use the talent.

^This. Plus I personally believe they'll have one big loss of at least -14. And it could be Arkansas that gives it to them, based on when they play.

I'm thinking the Hogs will try to replicate the Utah gameplan offensively.
