The two biggest factors in LSU's offensive success were their personnel forcing Alabama's defense to stay in base for much of the game and Alabama's over-aggressiveness in blitzing which allowed LSU to take advantage of one-on-one matchups. aTm won't be able to replicate that because Alabama won't be in base and the gameplan to stop Manziel won't be to blitz him but to focus on keeping him in the pocket if every game Alabama has played against mobile QBs since '09 Florida is any indication.

Anemic offense was more than enough to beat Johnny fig-ball. Offense doesn't win in the SEC. LSU, Bama, Florida, Georgia etc. will kick your arse if you cant stop the run without using your safeties.

This started by you going full Corps-tard by using transitive properties to make the case that TAMU will beat Bama.
How many times do you have to be told this. The prevent D is not used to prevent Scoring. It is used to prevent Fast scoring, which it did not do in CS. It does not mean that Somehow your Offense was spectacular that game. IT was garbage time TD. If it wasn't garbage time then why didn't LSU try and make a 1st down. They just ran up the gut, relaxed and let the clock do what it does. TAMU was the only team scrambling. Garbage time for LSU = Gimmick panic play for TAMU.

You know as well as everyone that the LSU team we played, was not the same as everyone else did. Mettenberger and that offense played lights out. Go look at the previous games Saban coached against a dual threat QB. Tebow, Cam, and Denard didn't run on us at all. Saban and Smart will force him to stay in the pocket and beat us with his arm and he won't be as fortunate as Mett, there will be very little blitzing so JFF will have to deal with both our Safeties in coverage.

The ONLY team that can hang with Alabama is LSU, particularly with a renewed Mett.
