seen it too many times with teams in the sec talking about going undefeated or having only 1 loss. The SEC is one league in which consistency is develop over the course of a few seasons not after 1 or 2 big games.

We may very well lose to LSU but unless Auburn makes a drastic turn around on offense I can not see us losing to them at home.

I'd say they're better than 7-5 at this point. But the season is young, let's see what happens the next 8 weeks.

I like flying under the radar.

Anything can happen.. I mean look at LSU last year when they got ranked No. 1.. They played Kentucky and all of a sudden they got beat.. Folks this is the SEC.. If you go undefeated you've got a hell of a team.. But on your worst day, the worst team in the conference could slip up and beat you.. Not saying Kentucky was a pushover last year.. Lets face it, there's some tough SEC games coming up..

Auburn playing at Bama?

Saban teams play there best on the road.

They may lose to Kentucky.

And they'll have to try real hard not to get Croomed for a 3rd year in a row. You can bet Moo State's best game of the year will be vs Bama.

I think they're still looking at a 3 loss season.

We Bama fans need to remember the last Franchione game, when we were heavy favorites, playing pretty good football, and Auburn was struggling and down to their 3rd-4th string tailback, Tre Smith. He was a quick little white guy, and he slashed Bama all night in Tuscaloosa and we friggin' lost the game.
That was the start of their current streak.

Its the Iron Bowl. we're not quite halfway into this season, and A LOT can happen between now and then. I certainly won't count Auburn out until the last second ticks off and we're on top.

I remember it well. Leading up to the game, a majority of Barners wanted Tubs fired. Huge QB controversy between Beard and Campbell. Lowder and Housel jetting back and forth to "consult" with Petrino. Poor Tubs looked like his only friends were his wife and dog.

And then it all changed with a win over Bama. Tubs became brilliant and gets extended. Housel is run out of town like a conspirator who tried to kill the king.

I don't make many, if any predictions on this site, or any for that matter. But, I have had this gut feeling all week, and Kentucky is playing well and is under the radar right now. Bama just came off a big game, Saban teams can lose these type of games as we've seen in the past. He's a great coach, and I appreciate all he did for LSU, but I can def. see Bama losing this game. I definitely wouldn't take Bama to cover the spread for this game. While I know its a different season, and the Tide are a better team, You don't have to look too far in the past to see Bama win a big game against Clemson and this have a horrible showing the following game against Tulane. The only problem was that Tulane wasn't quite good enough to beat them. Kentucky is. There defense is good.

I don't know who Beard is....but you are right about a QB Controversy that year @ Auburn....it was between Campbell and Daniel Cobb

I think many Bama fans would agree with you but 10-2 in the SEC is damn good in my opinion. We obviously won a NC last year at 10-2.

I think most Bama fans would take 10-2 and run.

You're right. I guess I don't "remember it well."

Naah. Don't you have other teams to worry about (including your own) instead of Bama?

Scoop, lay off the crack laced KoolAid. This is the Iron Bowl. Anything can happen. We own Bryant Denny.

Two years ago you came in ranked and went home spanked.
