Our church group is heading to Rainesville Sat. to bring all of the bags of food and items our small town has collected. Are any other small towns doing this as well?
We have really collected alot. If everyone pitches in we can help the state recover quickly.
Sorry if Bags for Bama is german.

Doesn't matter if it's germans, that's a standup move and will help alot of people. and to your group.

It's great to see people pull together and help others in their time of need.

Thank you for your kindness.

Doesn't matter if it's Germans.

Thirty people lost their lives in DeKalb County, and many, many more lost their homes. They care more about help than a redundant post.

Thank you SO much! The amount of generosity and kindness from our southern brothers and sisters has been amazing and touching.

The national media may have forgotten us amidst the royal wedding and the killing of Bin Laden, but our neighbors have not forgotten!

Bless all of you on your travels! Go Gators and Roll Tide!

I live in Colorado now, but I grew up in Northeast Alabama and lived in Sylvania (just NE of Rainsville) for several years before I joined the Army in 2004. My grandparents and my wife's parents both live in Rainsville. Luckily they were just north of the tornado and didn't receive any damage, but parts of that small town are unrecognizable.

Thank you and your church for everything and it is very much appreciated!
