I live in Colorado now, but I grew up in Northeast Alabama and lived in Sylvania (just NE of Rainsville) for several years before I joined the Army in 2004. My grandparents and my wife's parents both live in Rainsville. Luckily they were just north of the tornado and didn't receive any damage, but parts of that small town are unrecognizable.
