Generally, "I'll bet" followed by an opinion, is usually accepted as a declarative statement. Your challenge of said statement is where the idiocy commenced.

Dee Ford had better put out at the next level cause he just made a pure arse of himself. For all the people talking about clowney busting out in your dreams. You do realize clowney doesn't play quarterback. His job is to rush the passer and he will do it at the next level.

Dee Ford had a great senior season (outperformed Jadeveon Clowney by a mile even though he missed two games) and went beast mode at the Senior Bowl. If he stays healthy, he will be productive. He's a speed demon off the edge.

Kelcy Quarles or DT didn't reach double digits in sacks for no reason. If we had actually had another pass rusher opposite clowney that was worth a damn this past season he probably would have had a lot more than 3 sacks just saying.

Yeah but clowney didn't call dee ford a "blind dog in a meat market". So he had a great senior season? So now we basing player productivity at the next level on one season? Clowney had 8.5 sacks as a freshman 13 sacks as a sophomore and 3 last yr but now because he had 3 last yr he's going to bust out or he's lazy or he can't play at the next level pls.

People are lemmings and want to run with the "Clowney sucks now" propoganda instead of actually watching games and understanding that he was at least double teamed on 75% of his pass rushing opportunities.

Quarles most definitely benefited not only from Clowney drawing multiple blockers but also from Clowney forcing playing back into the middle.

Chaz Sutton apparently can only rush the passer from the inside so its unfortunate we didn't have another pass rushing threat on the other side, or Clowney would have given everyone the Tiny Richardson treatment and made everyone his bitch.

He was injured both in 2011 and 2012

Dee Ford also was only 6'1 180 pounds when he showed up to Auburn so frick no he was not contributing before at least his JR year.

This just like 2011 When they had Alshon Jeffery rated as the #3 prospect in the draft. Then he only got like 600rec yds on the season after getting 1500+ the previous yr. Then all the haters started crowing talking about his work ethic, talking about how he was fat and out of shape, talking about how he was slow. Well what's Alshon doing these days? Oh yeah that's right carving up secondaries and making the probowl!!! It's not about one season it's about your body of work!

No one will respond and/or admit they were wrong about Alshon but this is true. I've said the same thing before but this is the rant so don't worry about it.

And Clowney has been dealing with bone spurs in his foot and sprained ribs this past year. This is football, everyone is injured to some degree.

Clowney will be a better NFL player than college player.

I kind of agree with Ford. He's better than Clowney, exactly for the reasons he gave. I think he's a Robert Mathis clone.
