Yea, Ward is a better distributor than Frankie is. It will give us a better threat to score off the dribble at SG as well.
ETA: Currently up 15-3 in our exhibition game against Paine. 12 mins left in the half.

Don't be so sure. UT is going to be hard pressed to score 60 most nights.

Yea. I forgot he played some point at Texas. Only time I saw him play was in High School when he was running next to Courtney Fortson.

At times last year, Bama had trouble scoring 60 too.

Apparently we still suck at free throws.
I don't think i've seen a good free throw shooting team at AU in 12 years.

Butler HS>>>>>Lee HS
On the other hand Frankie was a beast in HS and short period of time in college, dunno how the injury will affect his all around game....hopefully the results are more bricks.

I'm interested to see how ward and Sullivan perform coming off such serious injuries. If they play up to their potential, auburn will be better than people think

I was at the exhibition tonight. I was impressed even though it was Paine College.
We played hard and with confidence.
Denson and Payne are going to be nice surprises.
Ward at PG with Wallace backing him up is solid.
Chubb actually looks like a D1 center, put on some muscle.
KG can rise with the best of them and his midrange game is solid.
Frankie Sullivan to lead the team.

Ward sprained his ankle but they are saying it's not serious..

Frankie Sullivan has fouled out after 19 minutes. Only 3 points, 0 assists, 4 steals, 1 turnover.

Frankie didn't look like his usual self. Hope he stay healthy for a whole year.

How did Ward look? Damn I had forgotten about Payne and Denson, throw in Wallace and y'all have a pretty deep backcourt. Also, what about the Clemson transfer?

Ward looked a little out of it, but you can tell he has the ability to be a top PG. Payne and Denson were killing it in the first half, very impresed. The clemson transfer wont be able to play till maybe December.
