This “tradition” is very cruel and should be stopped immediately. How could you exploit a wild animal in such a way. Forcing that beautiful creature to preform and fly into a hostile environment of 80k screaming fans is dangerous for its health. Much like LSU having to stop the tradition of parading mike the tiger around the stadium before games, I think that auburn should have to follow suit.
Please contact the sec, peta and auburn and voice your displeasure and hopefully it is stopped soon.

LSU CHOSE to stop putting Mike in a cage as it stresses the animal out.
I assume this is a troll but as a fellow LSU Fan. Please Auburn never stop this. I am no Auburn fan but I think that is one of the greatest traditions in college football.

I think the tradition is cool and they need to stop pretending to be Tigers and adopt the Eagle as their full-time and only mascot.
