Like I said, that’s an increase of 25% in total compensation. Over a 14 year period.
What kind of change in your income have you experienced since 2007?
Not sure why you people are getting caught up on that comment. I didn't say it wasn't normal, or shouldn't be the case. I said it was weird to think about, because it is.
ETA: That $5.25 Mil salary ranks him around 5th or 6th in the SEC, and that is also pretty wild.

Why are they paying him so much?

Also what has Bryan Harsin done in his career that even comes close to Saban to deserve 1.25 million more?

Hopes, dreams, and Auburn delusions. The usual.

Not sure why you think you can compare now to 2008? What don't you understand?
His salary is 6th in the SEC I believe. What should that job pay?

But to go from making $1.85 per year to $5.25 per year? How is that justified?

I don't know what it should pay but I do know it pays a frickton to get fired from it.

Harsin's getting the market rate for a mid-tier salary in the SEC. Had Auburn low-balled him folks on here would be calling them cheap.

Why are Bama fans so up in arms about this contract? Has Auburn called you asking for a handout? I Do love me some faux outrage though
Drinkwitz, the chick who worked for Harsin twice went from $750k to $4 mil. Welcome to the SEC. As it's been stated many times in the multiple threads about Harsin's contract the last 24 hours, Saban and his slimeball agent got this ball rolling years ago.

I’m not trolling. Auburn literally hired a guy that’s done nothing and he’s making more than experienced SEC coaches. Lol

He's got a 76-24 record.
Who is he getting paid more than in the SEC that he shouldn't? He's 6th right now, looking at older lists.

Check back with us after he coaches 2 years in the SEC and he's firmly sitting at .500

You are making the claim. Id like to see all these coaches that are making less and your justification why Auburn should be paying less than them.
After all, you weren't trolling, right...
You and nite have more braincells dedicated to Auburn than your favorite team(s). kind of sad. maybe some introspective thought would help, but that would require braincells to be used for other than Auburn and you do have a limited capacity...
