Not because of money, because the PTB are not willing to pay it out until AU rights the ship. Step one has already started with the new President. He was the Dean of the School of Engineering, and he knows where the money is located.

I talked to one of the biggest brewers in Alabama and he said how great the program is going to be. Their main goal isn't providing beer to redneck bammers, that is Natty Lites job.

That money is already in the works. Butch did himself a lot of good with the trip to the CWS. Bruce will get anything he wants.

I think you may be cognitively disconnected from your farming base.

I think he survives if Harsin survives.

I don't think it is as much Ws vs Ls, to a certain point. It depends on the climate and culture of the program. It was out of control under Gus.

NIL is going to destroy what’s left of the level playing field of college ball
You’ll see less and less big upsets and never see a middle of the pack school make a championship run in football. It’ll be the Alabamas and Ohio States every year and the rest will be fighting for the NY6 bowls

No, it just shifts it. Coaching is still going to be the big factor. That and S&C. NIL gets them in the door, coaching will keep them there.

What does that show every recruit, his parents, his agent? What a shitty way to operate.

AU has more money than anyone is willing to admit. The real PTBs money is through tech instead of business. The problem that AU has faced over the years has been the PTBs do not think AU has had a plan and they refuse to contribute to the dysfunction. That is changing and it starts with their new President and his relationship with the Athletic Department.

Nobody is tanking Harsin. NIL funds different from sport to sport. Remember it is all relative to the competition.
AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU THINK THE NIL ANNUAL BUDGET IS NEEDED?

Today, where AU hosts "14 undergraduate majors and 23 graduate programs to produce the next generation of agricultural leaders." And, they still host 13 Ag extension and research centers statewide led by this guy.
Au has tremendous STEM programs, but they were founded on a fanbase that still exists today as an Agricultural base.
Happy summer!

Man, when was the last time you were in Alabama? The typical Alabama Farm is now an organic base farm that caters to the Farm to Table Restaurants. Some very expensive items for some very good restaurants (ie Birmingham). The days of the dirt farmer are dying in the state.
