People are forgetting that the home team always loses in the A&M Auburn series.
I finally think that trend ends in 2018. I realize it's Jimbo, but 42-27 last year tells me Jimbo needs more than 8 games to right the ship.

since saban has been there you have won in tuscaloosa exaclty once, in a year you won the national title with maybe the best player in AU history, in a year where bama lost 3 games.
Do you have one of the best players in AU history this year? Are you a national title contender? Does bama look like a 3 loss team?
If AU beats bama this year I"ll quit posting for a week (need access back for when we play in the SECCG)

CGM hasn't really used a TE in yrs. Is he finally letting Chip take control?
He started using Lutz in the passing game toward the end of the year with Cam. Usually he doesn't trust the QB to sent the HB/TE out in the pass route. Again, this is the first year with a proven QB who should be able to recognize blitzes consistently.

Auburn has never beaten A&M at home in football or basketball.

Outside of their DL, Auburn is average. I think Stidham is a good QB, so I think he can win a game or two with his arm. Outside of that, I see 9-3, awful coach, away vs. Bama and their biggest rival UGA. It’s not going to be pretty in 2018.

Damn, how did they beat UGA 40-17 with that average talent. Unless Johnson was Heisman worthy.

AU likely at the 8 win mark this year.
Replacing a lot on the O-line (4 of 5 starters? Is that right? If not then it's 3 of 5). Replacing a really good RB and his backup with guys they didn't trust to run the ball in the last few games of the season and/or new players with no SEC experience.
The D will be legit and will keep them in every game, but I think Washington (better coach), UGA (better coach & players), Bama (better coach & players) all get them. Add in one more they shouldn't lose (see LSU last year or UCF last year) and you're looking at 8 wins.

We are your super bowl, plus it was a meaningless game.

Well that's dumb. The whole D is one of the best in the country, and our WRs are possibly the most talented group in the SEC.

By the time AU plays UGA, UGAs season is usually in the tank (mainly due to UF over history). It is a game that is fun, but usually doesn't mean much unless it is in a spoiler mode. Last year was the only exception since 2004. Super Bowl, not even close.
