Probably won't see Marshall crawl off the field because his offensive line quit like LSU's did for Mett.

The TV coverage showed the flight of the ball if not touched and it would have been 5 yards behine the WR.

That I can agree with.
Auburn has 6+ 300yd rushing games this season. They wont get near that this game.
Someone posted it before, even with a dual theat in Cam and backs in McCalleb and Dyer, Auburn rushed 41 times for 108yds in 2010. Since Sabans arrival, Auburn's highest rushing total was 165yds in 2007.
They key will be if Bama can run effectivly vs Auburn along with the obvious of Nick Marshall's passing

Who cares if it was overthrown or underthrown? He made a terrible decision by throwing it up for grabs into double coverage. Hilarity ensued.

Saban has actually explained this several times on his call in shows. We typically play a very safe "vanilla" defense to start off games. It's apparently very predictable.
that sounds like wishful thinking and only explains defensive woes which aren't actually what I'm referring to. the offense seems to always sputter for at least the 1st qtr (from what ive watched)

Malzahn will get his rushing yards. It won't be 300, but it will be a lot more than Bama is used to giving up.
This is entirely possible, but when you add the almost non-existent passing yards to it, it will still probably be on par with our normal yards per game allowed.
When you run the ball twice as much as the teams we have played to accrue those numbers, chances are, even if you suck, you will exceed the normal amount of rushing yards given up.

Some have said there was a wide open receiver that he didn't see, but I haven't re-watched the play.

There was, but Nick had his receiver chosen before the ball was snapped

Could not have easily gotten the ball to Coates. He was open for a moment in the middle of the field, but GA had him w LBer 5 yds away. Would not have worked IMO.
Watch the replay. Would have required a QB like Murray to even have a prayer to drop it in that space from 25 yds.

Auburn fans have a few fantasy days left before reality hits.

Am I crazy to think think this? I just believe that Malzahn is every bit of an offensive genius as Saban is on the defensive side of the ball, or more. You cannot overlook the huge rushing numbers Auburn has put up. And I will admit that Auburn would probably beat LSU if we had to play the game next week.
Malzahn almsot out coached himself against UGA.
Bubble screen with 1:30 and 80 yards to go? He got bailed out by the football gods, but his Mickey mouse offense down't hold up to sound defenses.
