It was because Auburn had a good game plan. They played in the same conditions as LSU and LSU held every play.
Joe still got his stats so the weather had nothing to do with it. Auburn defense stopped them rim scoring.
Had we an offense worth a damn we would have been the only team in America to beat LSU
But we didn’t and they had an incredible season.

MSUs shitty defense only held LSU to 36 points

In all honesty and fairness, LSU moved the ball on auburn at will. LSU just shot itself in the foot a few times in the red zone and left slot of points on the field that game. LSU was the much better team and that was obvious if you watched the game.
Also, the LSU team at that point in the season can't be compared to the team we have seen this last part of the season. They just continued to improve and peaked at the last part of the season like great teams do. I still dont think LSU played it's best game all season long and that's scary. Even chaisson said it when interviewed after the game last night, lol. He said this LSU team hadn't even played it's best ball yet all season and still did what they did against the best competition. If that's not scary idk what is. That is the absolute best team I have seen play college football in my entire life and it's really not close. I can't name one team that could have without question beaten this LSU team. Why? Not because I'm biased at all bc there's plenty of others that say the exact same thing about this LSU team, its just bc they're so damn good lol. What a special team! Wow! Geaux Fightin' Tigers!

Where were you when Auburn only gave up 23?

LSU failed to score in the RZ three times this season. Two were against Auburn and the third was last night when we took a knee

Speaking of holding... Your corners are still doing it...

The weather had EVERYTHING to do with it, but whatever helps you sleep.

Auburn front three was the toughest LSU faced all year. It was a very very wet field having had heavy rains for two or three days. It was also somewhat of a trap game mentally with Bama looming next.
We did not have Marshall who was hurt. And had not, figured out how to use Moss at that point either.
Anyway... bottom line... Auburn defense and Steele were very good.

Auburn d-line very good. LSU played very poor in the redzone. Stopped at 1 yr line, turnover, etc.
LSU worse game of the year, but Auburn had the dudes up front to get pressure.
