The score is a reflection on LSU's dominant defense.

You're shitting yourself if you consider their offense on par with Oklahoma, Ok. St and other schools averaging 40+ points a game.

You have an average offense, with an above average WR in Randle. You have extraordinary special teams and defense. You are Bama 2009 all over.

That's great, but Bama's offense in 2009 wasn't anything to write a book about.

I know we have been winning by double digits, but the LSU/Auburn matchup is always a dog fit minus a few in the last 18 years. We will beat Auburn by double digits but it wont be by 23 imo. I think Miles will play auburn straight up with a very vanilla scheme going into the off week.

Betting against LSU has cost people a lot of money this year. With that being said, take Auburn and the points.

No doubt, LSU has been pointing points up.. The spread just seemed too high to me, considering the recent history of the rivalry.. It'd take AU with the points up until 17.5..

We'll see. Chris Davis is healthy again, Whitehead is coming on, and T'sharvan Bell is playing better (except when it comes to tackling). I hope we put Therezie in and let him play the role of TM7. He would be hell off the edge blitzing.

Yeah I see a 13-17 point victory for LSU.

I'm sure you will, as our secondary is shite. I think TT's point is that despite the good year JL is having, he is not Tyler Wilson and he doesn't have Bobby Petrino scheming the passing plays.

Honestly not a flame, I can say about the same for this year's bama offense. Bama won with defense and a sound running game in 2009, LSU won with balance in 2003 with a defense that held oklahoma to 150 yards, and even Tosu beat Miami who perhaps was considered the best team ever with a good defense. But I feel you have to ability to run the football and quite honestly I cannot see LSU having the success running the ball unless we are able to go vertical with our offense.

We don't need either to cover against Auburn

This, BP confuses the hell out of our secondary every year. There's really not anything scary about LSU's passing game to me either, but they are solid. Just nothing flashy.

I agree. The spread is too high. Those who have bet LSU all year may continue the trend, opening an opportunity for the past losers to make up the lost money by betting against LSU. It sits about 7 points higher than I'm comfortable with. LSU wins easily, but I don't expect them to cover unless Auburn is just flat all game or the QB play is worse than Florida's.

LSU isn't much different. We just have light years better depth and coaching on defense.

Yeah I think so too.. I expect LSU to jump out ahead early, then play conservatively late.

And your QB play is better.. Never thought I'd say that during the JJ days

What the QB situation right now for Auburn? Is Moseley starting?

Truth

In all honesty, I could see us jumping in front early then pulling several, but not all starters. Doubt we see mett, but if Lee goes down Miles said before the UK game that Mett will play in his place, not Jefferson. IDK if that still holds water, but interesting if true.

I definitely don't see ware playing all game. You will see a heavy dose of Alfred Blue.

Yes. Well, that's the speculation...

If Trotter starts, we have no chance.

JL has been pretty fricking good this year.

Auburn gave up 40+ to MSU.

We had a avg. Team in 09' and we beat the breaks off of the eagles.

LSU has covered the spread 7 games in a row, it becomes 8 saturday.

Our biggest problem is if you score 10 points, I don't know if this offense can match that...which is unfortunate for a Gus Malzahn offense.
