I'd have to give the nod to Auburn's logo. The script A is okay, but I always thought it could be better.

I think the script 'A' is more recognizable than the 'AU'... But auburn definately has a better mascot

Totally different logo. The Script A is part of the logo, but it's not the Script A alone. Anyone would recognize that this logo is the University of Alabama, considering it has "Alabama Crimson Tide" around the script A.
