Time is ticking down to the start of college football.
I'm sure this is a delicate subject, and I'm not trying to be insensitive, but has there been any announcement as to who will replace Rod Bramblett as the voice of The Auburn Tigers ? I'v heard a few Bramblett calls on YouTube, he was excellent. Will it be Paul Ellen ?

I've been wondering the same. Gonna be tough, great play by play radio voice & Auburn legend.

Not announced yet, but my guess is that it will likely either be Andy Bercham or Paul Ellen (excuse the spelling if I got it wrong). I wonder what Stan White is going to do. Will be rough on him the first night regardless of who is picked.

Stan White was qb of that undefeated team in 1993 ? In radio jargon, as a play-by-play guy I would be elated to have a color commentator with such an elite pedigree. I'm sure AU will land a winner.

UGA might have something to say about that, but I'll be surprised if we're not at least 9-3 this season

People forget that Stan went thru this same thing when Jim Fyffe died.

They will likely keep everyone the same with Andy or Paul taking main duties

Stan White and Andy Burcham have both already said no. Of I had to guess it will be Paul Ellen for this year, but I do know he wants to retire within the next few years.

I honestly hope we conduct a National search for a younger guy that is good at his craft.

I hope ‘Touchdown Auburn’ survives in some form.

With Fyffe starting it and Bramblett continuing it, it's become a tradition. At least it is too me. It's also a tribute to both men.

Either way, it will be an emotional first game for many of us.

I still can’t believe he’s gone. And his lovely wife. God bless his wonderful children.

Eh, I rather have an Auburn guy fill the role. I don’t think an outsider can replicate the passion Rod conveyed

After Jim & Rod, gonna have to show passion, especially loudly off a Td or may get booed off the Plains.
