It was bad...sorry brethren.
Bruce struck gold in 2019, but he can't recruit decent guards that actually produce and puts zero coaching or importance into free throw shooting. When his teams are on, it is fun to watch, but for 5 years it has been feast (2024: all regular season wins > 10 points) or famine (a few stinkers). It is what it is, and we are bettering off keeping Bruce rather than going back to the basketball abyss.

Imagine being a Division 1A basketball player who can’t make a free throw…now imagine an entire team full of those kind of players and that’s Auburn.
