I'm sure the Bates tweet is just emotion getting let loose. He just lost some friends and another is in bad shape. I take it as a burst of emotion much like people do when reacting. Let's not make it out to be more than it is.
I really hope they catch whoever did this. The reason it happened doesn't matter, I hope the shooter gets the needle.

Agreed. Hope school administration is very proactive in reaching out to students and players to help give them support and help them through this. It's terrible anytime a tragedy occurs with one person, but with multiple, it's got to be tough. Alot of hurt and anger going through alot of people.

Prayers sent to the families. It's pretty discouraging to know that the world that we are growing up in has individuals that are not afraid to take others lives over some petty shite. It makes me wonder how I made it to 26 considering the enviroment that I grew up in and the situations that I still continue to put myself in today. All it takes is that one individual to ruin the lives of so many undeserving people.

Hearing this news last night left me sleepless. I had the opportunity of getting to know Ladarious over the past year at Auburn. Great guy with a smile on all the time.

Auburn still had that image in my mind of a safe, college town. This news would be shocking even if it didn't involve football players.

their clubhouse is connected to the pool... sounds like people were in the clubhouse watching the boxing match.... shooting/fight may have spilled out onto the pool area (that's just speculation).
when I was in college, we hung out at that pool a good bit... crazy.
