House cleaning 101 by Harsin. It's his show. We'll see.

Hard to opt out when half the team quit last year.

You know it's probably a good thing in the long run, but it's also scary at the beginning of the process. As a coach if you have guys who don't buy in at the beginning, it's hard to build a solid foundation.

JMO (I am old) what you really want to see in year one is a team that is well coached and disciplined much like Coach Dye's 1st year at AU. Players that don't quit when things go bad. The talent has to come for sure but to show you can coach up players is the best sign. We'll see.

Yea, because you have such a rich tradition of beating us 10% of the time the last decade.

Skippy you're about the steps pass stupid. Hell the Bama record vs LSU at your place is the same as when you play you at home. Bama owns LSU in football and it is documented for you that can actually read.

Not even mentioning A&M. Nice, very subtle.

I believe that LSU and Ole Miss will be fighting it out as the worst defense in the West.

I’m not saying we beat y’all next year but it’s going to be a much more even playing field next season than last. You replace a lot on offense and you have Florida, Auburn and A&M on the road. And an improved OM on the road. Guess what? We have all those games at home minus the Ole Miss game. And we haven’t lost anyone. Honestly I’m glad all those players left for the NFL or opted out last year. It gave all our depth so much experience and very early. Our team is now going to be so much better this year than it would’ve been if none of those players opted out last year. It was baptism by fire, won’t be the case this year.

I was only 6-7 when Dye was hired (and not an Auburn fan or into football) but I understand he cleaned-house pretty well his first year and that was reflected in the record, but he was obviously building something.

It's got me wondering if Bowden, Chizik and Gus didn't do as much of that and maybe that's part if the reason they had success up-front, but the foundation was never strong and they faltered later in their tenure?

And that explains the previous 9 seasons how exactly?

Yawn. I love y'all getting hyped up every off season though, only to be crushed into tears in November.

Our talk eventually comes through buddy and you know it. The offense of the last 10 years is gone Bucko. You know you fear us more than any other team you have to face every year. We aren’t afraid of you and we never will be and that pisses you off. So sorry.

Gene Chizik and Gus Malzahn had a combined 3 years of experience as a HC.

Also find it hilarious that Alabama fans openly mocked both guys while they were at Auburn, calling them terrible coaches, only to say how bad Auburn would be when they were fired and replaced.

Tiger fans will come unhinged if our defense is bottom of the barrel like last year.

LSU has way too much talent on defense to be that bad again.

You don't fear us but we fear you. And we're the ones with the 9-1 record. Ok.

In case you didn't notice, our offense is a little better too and outdid yours last year.

Gus has no excuse - he was coaching the players he recruited under Chizik
