I guess when someone says they want to clear their son's name you think of something big like murder or rape, not being mouthy with a cop or trespassing. 
It sounds like the guy is claiming his son was wrongfully arrested because RD called him a bitch and a N..
Totally plausible defense if you ask me.

Looks like it worked. According to a post 5 minutes ago, he says that Chief Dawson called him and is dropping charges.

Could be. Who really knows? Story doesn't make much sense without hearing from people that were actually there. Kid that gets arrested has a pretty solid motivation to twist the story in his favor when telling daddy what happened.
