Watching the AU spring game and it seems to me that they have enlarged the interlocked AU logo on the helmet. Is that true? Looks pretty good to me.

They did, but I don't like it myself. Many AU fans have voiced against it, but no word if it will remain for the season.

Experimented with the logo.
It was 15% bigger than last year. They did it for "brand enhancement"

It does look a little bigger....i guess.
What do you think of the field. I personally hate it when Bama does something fancy with the field on A-Day. It reminds me too much of a soccer field. That may just be me though...

That decal, coupled with the mid court of the new bball arena shows that the AD is really pushing the brand. I think the helmet logo is AU's best marketable asset so enlarging it looks good to me. The bball court is overkill.
This decision is waaay better than the tiger eyes thing and the "jungle" idea. The helmet logo is more subtle, and again, I think it is AU's best brand option to push.
