Rumor has it he hurt his ankle in the first quarter and then hurt it even worse in the fourth quarter. People say he was limping around pretty badly after the game.

Hope they both recover quickly and with no setbacks.
That being said, AU fans in 2019 didn't have much sympathy when Tua and several defenders were hurt for the IB.
"Injuries are a part of the game, big deal" etc.

He hurt his ankle first half, but continued to play. Then he hurt it again later in game (but still continued to play). It was only late in the 4th that they pulled him.
Now word is he broke it and needs surgery.

I think that year proved that you can’t just toss out the next 5-star and maintain a unit when you’re doing it along the entire middle of the defense.

Multiple threads have been deleted on Auburn’s 247Sports board, including one with a screenshot of a comment from Jay G. Tate.
People keep starting threads to ask about it, citing other websites, and the threads keep getting deleted.
