number?

I think Gus has severely under coached the talent that you recruited (personal opinion). I know he is on the hot seat and from what I am reading, it looks like the Offense (what gus was 'known' for) is not in great shape at all.

For the sake of a real conversation, is this his last year if he does not win "X" amount of games?

For the record, I have you losing 5-6 games:

Oregon
Ms St
UF
LSU
UGA
Bama

Please break that down for me. I think the most winnable of the 3 is Oregon.

I don't think UF nor MS St is in reach

I guess the world of sports is wrong....

Are you saying he keeps his job if he loses 5 to 6 games?

Perhaps, but I'm routinely told on this board that LSU has more talent year in and out. Yet, LSU hasn't been to the SECCG since 2011 and Auburn has twice (under Gus) since 2013.

I hope they do.

Don't care. Ms St beat them last year with the worst offense at MSU in a long time. Auburn seems to be taking a step backwards on offense this year while MS St is taking a step forward without a major drop off on defense.

Auburn ain't winning that one.

Please, Auburn has a young team this year. If he keeps his losses underneath 5 he should receive a bonus. After all we are talking about Gus Buss.

Tell me what makes you think that you are that much better this year that will bring a different result against Ms St?

Your offense is not better. At all. We both truly know that.

That’s true. Definitely unlikely, but you’re right.

Our offensive line will be better, we get Stove and Hastings back at WR, we have better depth at RB. The only question mark is QB, both options are very talented but they lack experience.

How is Miss State making a step forward on offense? Fitzgerald did all the damage against Auburn last year.

Not a major drop off on defense? Really? After losing 3 first round draft picks, 4 NFL draft picks total? Asinine.

I will ask you the same.

You lost 23-9 to a team whose offense was like 70th in the nation.

You had pretty much a vet Offense. You scored 9.

Ms St will have a top 15 defense again and are by all reports, way better on offense.

Where are your improvements to make up the ground?

Nah. We will hire Rhett Lashlee when Gus is gone and the tree will continue.
