Dont forget the hope scholarship that most in state kids that are worth a shite are on going for free. Of course they are taking less in state kids, which would make it appear hard to get in, so they can collect out of state tuition to make up the difference. You'd think a Tulane grad would see that

So you chose to go to Auburn even though UGA ranks considerably better overall and better in every major that does not involve sticking your finger up a cow's arse?
How old are you? Do you have any clue how shitty UGA was before HOPE? UGA was basically Miss State back then. You are still only a state school.

That "stat" is something that some schmuck tweeted once upon a time. It's not accurate. More competitive students choose to go to UGA. If you have a 2.7 high school GPA and decide to go to Auburn, you're not going to go out into the real world and surpass UGA grads. UGA's average incoming freshman now has a high school GPA over a 4.0. Enjoy your basketball success because the rest of your life is going to be very hard.

Let’s play this game again: what is it that you do my friend?
I would bet serious money that either me or my fiancée that is also an AU grad pulls more than you in a year and has a more kickass job. Such a hard life we have set ourselves up with

I didn't go there because I never liked the school since my days of living in Georgia through middle school. Got in without really even applying

Somebody told you a fib.

Why does UGA rank considerably higher than Auburn academically? And if I wanted to be an engineer, I would have gone to Tech. Having an Auburn degree is just too embarrassing. I wouldn't want to put that on my resume.

You didn’t answer the question, and honestly there is no way you’d have hacked it in engineering or gotten in to Tech, so let’s start this conversation with some honesty at least.

Are you in high school with diddlydawg? You are either young or not very bright.

Dude, come on! Y'all are delusional. Everyone gets into Auburn, Bama, and Ole Miss.

This argument cracks me up and shows me the intelligence of the ones who post this.
How many people tried to get accepted into Auburn last year?

I predict this dude is a high school child, or someone that dated a girl at Auburn that left him for someone more successful.

When I was in high school there were several students that were denied admission into UGA but were accepted at Tech. Those schools are very close academically now. I can't remember exactly but I think Tech is in the 30s in the US News rankings and UGA just crept into the 40s. I don't even think Auburn is in the top 100.
Dude, does Auburn even have a plus/minus grading scale? I guarantee you that I could have hacked it in your program in a 90 in a class equals an "A" and an 80 in a class equals a "B." I got into UGA so I know I could excel in any Auburn program.

I applied to UGA for the heck of it and was accepted. I’m not even that smart. You guys can stop acting like UGA is Tech.

... you are judging our engineering program on whether or not they had a +/- system?
Don’t even bother telling me what you do, I know exactly how your engineering career would have gone.

Look at the 2019 rankings. Tech and UGA are a lot closer than UGA and Auburn. Auburn isn't even in the top 100.

Their football program is as good as Alabama’s.
Their academics are as good as Georgia Tech’s.
Their women are better looking than USC’s.
Crazy how great Georgia is
