Auburn is for real

Win or lose. They're not perfect, they rely too much on the 3, but they're so good at what they do that they can beat any team if they're hot.

A degree from Auburn is meaningless though.

A degree from any school can be meaningless.

They look like the exact same team they were last year. Not that that’s a bad thing by any means.

Tell that to every employer I’ve ever had, they’ll laugh in your face.

Overrated.. all they have is the three and their flopping for fouls.

I mean, they live and die by the three. They fell behind because they weren’t making and then they almost pulled it out by barely missing down the stretch.

Sorry, let me clarify. Unless you want to work on a farm jacking off cows, an Auburn degree won’t open any doors for you. Auburn is a backup school. Everyone knows this. If you can’t get into UGA, you have to settle for Auburn.

Actually I'm working with my company, Delta Air Lines, to bring Auburn graduates here.
We threw 6.2M at them last year to help build their aviation program into a pilot feeder system for us.
Currently we have 10 year copilots easily in the 250k-350k range so we are competitive there but it wont be enough in a decade. So we want to be their first choice so we are developing a program to get them into our ops and even into the simulators to help bridge their learning and development. With good pilots becoming scarce we are going to need Auburn badly.
I would not call that degree worthless.

Everyone I know that applied to Auburn got in. Not exclusive. Not impressive. Pretty embarrassing actually.

I am shocked there are pilots out there not working for UPS or Fedex that make that much

What state do you live in?

Wait, you pay copilots 250-350k? Smart allocation of money. Kind of like giving Gus a 45 million dollar contract.

Times changed fast. I'm at year 12 at 335k... on a 320.
We had a one off season with the intro of the A350 where we got a 7 figure captain but that kind of premium pay flying has dried up. Crazy times.

Okay.... well. Cant help you anymore. Thanks.
But for the rest of you, look into the program because we are into it. Switch your major or tell your kids whether male or female.
