I never said we we were way ahead. I said you are not top 15.
I am not talking in circles. Your reading comprehension just hasn't been very good.

Now this I disagree with.
LSU has more wins, a better winning percentage, more conference wins, more conference championships, more bowl wins, more weeks ranked, more ten-win seasons, and they own the head-to-head against Auburn. We don't have to get into the national championship disparity to call this one.
most of the "all time rankings" that I have seen have LSU and Auburn within a few spots, typically

You realize the ranking you sent had LSU above Auburn, right? That was my point.

dude - you were speaking "all time" - then your argument was "well over the past 20 years we have done this, blah, blah, blah"...
so yea - that is talking in circles because those are two completely different scenarios.
I surely hope you aren’t an attorney because your defense and argument skills leave a lot to be desired…

yes - by 2 spots...that's my point as well

The past 20 years pushed us ahead all time. Keep up bro.

I never commented on the gap between LSU and Auburn. I just stated LSU is objectively a better program. But, I suppose, point taken.

All time wins is one stat. Championships, bowl wins, ranked seasons, 10 win seasons all matter.
Ok cool. So does undefeated seasons. There are several championships Auburn could claim, and many more they just didn’t win the popularity contest.

Me, and basically everyone that isn't a delusional Auburn man with an over inflated sense of his program.

I never said LSU was top 10 or way ahead of Auburn.
I think LSU got itself into the top 15 over the last 20 years.
Auburn is just outside of that.
I really don't see what the issue is. But ya'll do ya'll.

So with your logic, name me 15 teams that have had more success than Auburn the last 20 years: NCs, conference championships, undefeated seasons, etc.?

Not to burst your bubble but I think this might be helpful. It shows how much time a program has spent being "really good". Looking at the chart it's pretty obvious how the "groupings" break down.
If you want to argue that only the top 7 are blue blood that's fine, but if there are 10-15 blue bloods then Auburn is definitely in that pack.

Penn State
Fl State
UCLA - Living off old glory. Maybe they bring it back in the B10
UGA
TENN
LSU
Miami
Tier 4
Washington
T A&M
Clemson - Rising fast
Arkansas

I was working up a Faulkner-esque response to your thread as regards to living on the Square in Oxford and how I so enjoyed the bounty of the town through which I transited the years when I truly came of age, and how my senses were filled with the sounds, sights, and scents of the little hamlet in north central Mississippi on fall weekends when the fighting Rebels of the University of Mississippi, or Ole Miss as its beloved call it, take the field amidst the turning of the oak leaves from green to orange to brown, and then fall to the ground and crunch under foot as one walks the lengthy walkways and paths through the Grove and the Circle on the way to another football contest in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, with the Ole Miss band playing "Dixie" and the football players ambling through the Grove on the way to the stadium while the sorority girls in their high heels and finest threads and fraternity men in their blue blazers and khaki trousers do their best to impress each other with the hopes of a chance meeting later in the evening, but alas, time got the best of me as I was positing in the camouflage and catfish thread about the superb catfish served at Taylor Grocery which is just down a little highway from Oxford, and I was unable to properly respond at that time, and for that I profusely apologize.
