Auburn, how will your team do against Northwestern?

I assume you should win, but know nothing about the game details. Fill me in on your thoughts.

I mean, they're probably better coached, and we're probably considerably more talented.
If we come prepared to play I think we'll win, particularly if Tank plays and plays well.
But we've got opt outs and coaching flux issues and an interim lame duck coach, so I don't really expect us to perform that well. Although I suppose it wouldn't be surprising if some guys/coaches saw this as an opportunity to audition for the incoming regime - I'd be happy if that was the case.
Oh, and they've had like 2 solid weeks of practice for this game while we've had about 4 days. And while it's not really fair to Northwestern, the reality is that I suspect they've got a lot more motivation to practice and prepare than our guys do. Both because we're playing Northwestern and because a lot of our guys are probably wondering what the future holds for them at AU.

Northwestern have lots of nerds. Strong nerds who will dazzle your girlfriends because the majority of them have gigantic .... bank accounts.

Auburn isn't a very good matchup for Northwestern. Auburn will run the football well and their athleticism on defense will mess with Northwestern's offense.

But with a lame-duck coaching staff, numerous opt-outs, and Chadwick running the offense, all bets are off.
I don't know who NW is missing, but I would definitely give them the advantage in this one. Will definitely NOT be like the last time we faced them, will likely be a defensive struggle.

Yeah... NW has been pretty bad against the run this year... if tank plays close to 100% auburn should be able to move the ball. They were also out gained in nearly every game... save for Maryland and Illinois.
The question for auburn is do they show up?... lame duck staff, player motivation issues, etc.

I was just asking if he was still there. Sorry I don't keep up with your team or coaching changes. I really dgaf about Chad or Gus, im not one of those Arkansas fans.

Yes, he is still there through tomorrow and will be calling the plays. I don't expect that he will be retained by Harsin.
I'm curious to see how the playcalling goes now that we know for sure Gus isn't calling them.

I'm not expecting much from us...about the same for the last 3 or 4 years. We will be more athletic but I suspect they will have a higher motivation.
