I like how you ignored the rest of my post. I guess that's because everything I said is true, and there's really no way you can defend your idiotic statement when confronted with the reality.

“I looked at background. I looked at tradition. I looked at everything I possibly could look at as an athlete, as a student and as a person. That’s why I chose Alabama. Alabama has a great tradition. Auburn has a great tradition, too. Auburn is a great school, but I felt like Alabama would be a better fit.”

...and I like how you just ignored the real reason he went to Bama. I don't care how long he was committed to Bama. He probably waited as long as he did to switch to AU so Peaches wouldn't beat him. The dude was set on AU and was scheduled to visit unofficially the weekend before NSD, but Peaches was having none of it. And then taking the kid outta school? Seriously? Dad made the decision, not him. It goes both ways.

You have no clue what the hell you are talking about, as you've demonstrated in virtually every post. BC has admitted that he only considered Auburn because Cheesedick promised he could play at RB...the position he wants to start at. Saban wouldn't promise him that until NSD...and he switched back as soon as Saban made the promise.

You should probably quit arguing about something that you have no idea about.

Oh, ok. So if all it took was a "promise" from Saban to get a shot at RB, why was the kid removed from school? Why were all lines of communication taken away?

Give me a break. You've got a kid there who doesn't wanna be there. Congrats.

Obviously you're a dumbass and can't read the linked story.

quote:

Calloway said he’s happy with his final decision, one that he made for himself.

“My father didn’t play any role in this,” he said. “I just let him know last night. He didn’t know. He said he was going to stay back and let me think and let me be to myself, let me do what I think is best for me. He’s behind me 100 percent. My father is a great father and that’s what he does for me.

“It kind of boiled down to me and the coaches,” Calloway added. “How do I feel about this university? I said this is how I feel and this is what I’m going to go by. This is where I’m going to be the next three or four years.”

Brent Calloway explains why he committed to Alabama and no Auburn

He looks damn happy in this picture. He look like he was about to cry when he committed to Auburn.

Please stop posting that picture, you aren't going to get your point across to them. Everyone knows two things, Saban lures in recruits with false promises and recruits all would love the opportunity to play for Saban and Bama.

I tried to call for reason the other day before we knew what his decision would be looks like it was in vain

You can't be foolish enough to think you will find reason with Auburn and Alabama fans on the SECr.

I think Auburn is on shaky ground and that is going to negatively effect their recruiting until their NCAA situation plays out.

well I figured one or the other would be flaming the hell out of the other, but I do wish the kid had said I am delaying my announcement until I know what I want to do. I know he felt presured and maybe there needs to be some backing off of these kids because now thatthere is 12hr ESPN coverage it has to be a bit much.
